Sif; wife of Thor, patron deity of the sexually abused, goddess of harvest, fidelity, wedlock, communication, and hallowing. These are ways I personally honor Sif and my personal associations with offerings. If you have something negative to say keep it to yourself, these are personal and work for me.
Be humble and kind.
Take confidence in your beautiful hair! Cut, dye, do whatever you need too to love it.
Drink teas like pomegranate, hibiscus, rose, or raspberry for her.
Avoid gossiping and spreading rumors in honor of her peacefulness.
Leave offerings of wheat, rice, baked goods, apples, peaches, strawberries, nutella, chestnuts, or hazelnuts.
Do your best not to perpetuate rape culture and call out those who do.
Use the runes Berkanan, Gebo, Jera, and Wunjo in your altar or worship.
Work on identifying and appreciating in yourself the things that make you beautiful, both inside and outside.
Decorate your home in golds, greens, images of the earth, looms, woven goods, or mirrors.
Listen to music that reminds you of her I’ve noticed she enjoys Laura Marling and anything that makes me feel good about myself.
Grow birch, chamomile, fir, hawthorn, mugwort, hibiscus, rose, lavender, jasmine, or willow in your garden.
Leave her offerings during the harvest season, that’s also the best time to start working with her!
Keep an updated list of registered sex offenders in your area.
Light candles or incense of floral scents or sweet scents, I’ve noticed she’s found of jasmine, cherry blossom, and strawberry.
Engage in mindful self-care, both for one’s physical bodies and one’s heart and mind, to access her in this capacity.
Dedicate the act of braiding your hair to her.
Use the crystals lepidocrocite, rose quartz, sunstone, charoite, or goldstone in your altar or craft.
