Just a quick thought, but Hellenic pagans and other pagans from western practices need to acknowledge the privilege we have over PoC/native pagans.
Our Gods are pretty well known and fairly well documented. There are entire professors who dedicate their lives to studying our classics and traditions. Everything from high fashion to low budget webcomics make references to the Gods. Gucci makes Dionysos bags. Space shuttle Apollo. You get the point.
Other PoC pagan religions do not have this. Often they are so severely colonized that they lose their myths, practices and even language and have to piece it back together almost from scratch.
This is why appropriation is so harmful; we’re snatching the identities away from people who barely have anything of their own. And it was our people who destroyed it.
So just keep that in mind if you’re a western pagan practitioner. We’re very lucky and privileged to have all that we do.

I also charged and cast this very differently, by burning it instead of burying it. That’s part of what’s neat about sigil magic, there’s a lot of flexibility!
