Paul-François Quinsac, A Beauty in Violet (1858) (detail)

Goodbye mane. It was nice knowing you. It’s so nice not having the heat on my neck even if i’ll miss my long hair in a week XD
in witchcraft you don’t pick crystals, crystals pick you
In my experience, some signs that a crystal has chosen you include:
- The crystal is noticeably warm when you pick it up
- Your hand automatically drifts towards one particular crystal, even if it is not what you intended to choose
- An intense feeling of MINE when you first touch a crystal
- Prolonged thought about a specific crystal
- Seeing colors or hearing sounds when first touching a crystal
- The crystal is noticeably colder than room temperature upon first contact, then quickly becomes warmer than your body while in your hand
- A reluctance to put a certain crystal back onto the shelf
Story:
About 6 years ago I was in my favorite crystal store at the time with a friend. We were there for a few hours if not longer and I kept going back to this one spirit quartz. I didn’t purchase it that day because I needed to wait for payday.
So a week later I go in a find it’s not with the others, I’m looking a while. The lady who was always there, Katherine (we share the same name lol), asked what I was looking for. I told her how all week all I could think about was this spirit quartz and it was even in my dreams, but that someone must have bought it because it wasn’t here anymore.
She then pulls it out of a hiding place behind the register and says “I felt this one was looking for someone specific so I pulled it to keep it safe.”
I literally cried, of relief, happiness and gratitude.
Its still one of my favorite crystals!
Sometimes they find YOU themselves.
My story is i’d been wanting a Citrine for several years but hadn’t had any money to get one. Got a job at the mall (Hippy store) and not even a week into my job a customer comes in and pulls a stone from his pocket as we were talking and said he felt the strong need to give me this. Look into my hand and its a pale yellow citrine stone.
I was attracted to a labordorite point because it had the most amazing rainbows and I couldn’t buy it and the owner held on to it and gave it to me for my birthday
Materials:
- green or gold candle
- 1 dollar bill
- paper and pen
- tool for carving the candle
- patchouli, pine or cinnamon oil
Gather the materials on the first night of the new moon. Carve your desired type of employment into the candle and below it, draw an arrow pointing downward. Carve a dollar sign or other money related symbol beneath the arrow. Below that, draw another arrow pointing downward, then carve your name under it. A thumb tack or toothpick would be useful for carving the candle.
Anoint the candle with a drop of the oil, while concentrating on your need for employment. Write the amount you wish to earn on the piece of paper. Place this paper under the candle. Light the candle and visualize you getting the job you want (or getting a job in the field you want). Chant the following:
“From you to me the money flows,
casting out financial woes.
The employment I want will be approved
before the light of the next full moon.”Repeat the chant as many times as you wish. Let the candle burn down completely. Wrap the wick and any wax remnants in a dollar bill and carry it with you as you look for work.

Witchy day out with roomie.

I seem to have offended some Wiccans with my post and I honestly don’t care. If you feel called out you’re probably part of the problem. I call out my own religion to so quit acting like I’m attacking you personally regardless of my personal opinions of Wicca as a whole.
